Hi, I'm Dr. Lauren Clement, and if there's one thing I've learned, it's that some of life's greatest adventures begin with one unexpected "yes."

I'm a wife, mom, grandmother, nurse executive, educator, advocate, author, and international pageant queen. While those titles describe what I do, they don't define who I am. At my core, I'm someone who believes in serving others, embracing new opportunities, and proving that reinvention has no age limit and purpose has no expiration date.

For more than 15 years, I've dedicated my career to healthcare, leading clinical innovation, mentoring future nurses, and helping organizations improve patient care through technology and education. As a nurse executive and faculty member, I've had the privilege of guiding healthcare professionals, developing leaders, and advocating for meaningful change across the profession.

My passion for advocacy is deeply personal. After experiencing Breast Implant Illness firsthand, I became committed to educating others about informed consent, patient safety, and empowering individuals to make healthcare decisions with confidence. That experience reminded me that some of our greatest challenges often become our greatest purpose.

Then, in my fifties, I stepped onto a pageant stage for the very first time.

What started as an unexpected opportunity quickly became a journey of confidence, service, and personal growth. Today, I proudly represent my community as Universe United Miss Elite International Queen, using the platform to encourage others to chase dreams they may have once believed were out of reach. Through appearances, volunteer service, mentoring, and community engagement, I strive to show that it's never too late to discover a new passion or make a meaningful impact.

Whether I'm visiting a classroom, attending a ribbon cutting, volunteering at a local nonprofit, judging a pageant, speaking at an event, or simply connecting with someone who needs encouragement, my goal is always the same: to leave people feeling inspired, valued, and empowered.
